(2010) Extended Diploma in Fashion
As part of the extended diploma (two years full time), students study the Welsh Baccalaureate which incorporates the following: Fair trade, Recycling, Ethical consumerism, Environmental impact of textile use and production, Working conditions, Corporate social responsibility and Sustainability.
Undergraduate
(2010) BA (Hons) Fashion
Students are introduced to sustainability within the fashion industry and will be encouraged to incorporate this within their work.
Short courses
(2010) Work Based Learning Pathway in Fashion
The WBLP combines personal development skills with existing qualifications such as A Levels, NVQs and GSCEs to make one wider award that is valued by employers and universities. The Welsh Assembly Government introduced this course to transform learning for young people in Wales. Students on the WBLP Fashion have been involved in a wide range of ethical and sustainable projects and have recently taken part in an ethical fashion show where they produced garments from recycled clothing and objects.
