INTERNSHIP: Labour Behind the Label
Labour Behind the Label is a campaign that supports garment workers' efforts worldwide to improve their working conditions, through awareness raising, information provision and encouraging international solidarity between workers and consumers.
This is a great opportunity for a campaigner, activist, placement student, graduate or career changer to gain a good understanding of human rights issues within the garment industry, experience working within a small campaigning organisation and develop the core skills required for working in this sector.
Internships at LBL last for up to 3 months and are for 2 days a week / flexible (please let us know how many days would suit you). Please specify in your application the time frame you would ideally like to do an internship with us. We will have an intake at end of April 2010; end of August 2010; January 2011.
Deadline for applications:
- 31st March 2010 for end of April intake;
- 30th June for end of August intake;
- 30th November for January 2011 intake.
