PR/Marketing Intern at Amana
Amana is a fashion company that utilises sustainable textiles and ethical production practices. For more information see the Amana website.
Amana are looking for a PR/Marketing intern who is available for 8-12 weeks for 3 days a week as soon as possible. The role would primarily involve:
- Contacting press and developing press material.
- Contacting potential wholesale buyers.
- Assisting in the run up to London fashion week and assisting at the On/Off event during London Fashion Week.
The candidate would also be required to help organise deliveries to wholesale customers, send out press samples and generally assist in the office. Amana are a small company so any intern would have the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the business. The position would best suit a final year degree or MA student or recent graduate of a business or marketing based fashion degree, ideally with an understanding of public relations. The ideal candidate will be confident in speaking to press and buyers, and will be able to use initiative.
The placement is unpaid but Amana will cover travel expenses within London. The placement will be based at 29 Kingsgate Road, London, NW6 4TD.
