Pesticide Action UK introduces Barnabas Paul, an organic cotton farmer from West Africa, and a panel of industry experts to discuss how fashion designers can make a difference in the lives of cotton farmers around the world.
The event will include a screening of documentary Moral Fibre: Organic Cotton detailing the impact of cotton production in West Africa, and discussion from our panel of industry experts including; Barnabas Paul veteran organic cotton farmer in Kandi, a small town north of Benin; Dr Davo Vodouhê coordinator of pioneering organic cotton project in Benin; Abigail Gardner Founder and Director or organic and fair trade cotton company Gossypium; Mo Tomaney from Central St Martins and Damien Sanfilippo of the charity Pesticide Action Network UK.
