Bournemouth University are hosting the Second International Conference on ‘Education for Sustainable Development: graduates as global citizens'. They hope to build upon the success of the 2005 conference by continuing to focus on curriculum development but also extending participation in 2007, to include contributions from those who deal with the environmental aspects of university management. They believe a holistic approach that encompasses all aspects of university life is important, if higher education is to contribute effectively to global sustainability.
