Jane Shepherdson 'our thirst for throw away fashion has gone to far'.

The woman accredited with making TopShop the success it is today, Jane Sheperdson, has spoken publicly for the first time since leaving the retailer. In an interview with the BBC Jane said, 'I think people have become a bit bored with the idea of 'isn't it great, it is so cheap', I am hoping people will start to want to be a bit more individual again'.

The interview was part of a piece that BBC newsnight did on ethical fashion, which also featured Head of London College of Fashion Frances Corner, that asked whether fashion could ever be sustainable?
