DEADLINE 27th March 2009

GFW Competition

Fashioning an Ethical Industry (FEI) are giving students, who have considered ethics in their collections or projects, the opportunity to have their work displayed at the FEI stand at Graduate Fashion Week (GFW). Selected students' work will be featured on the stand itself and in the next edition of Sense, the FEI magazine, which will be launched at the event.

Have you, or one of your students, considered ethics in your sourcing process? Are you trying to reduce consumption and slow down fashion through your collection or projects? Have you developed a magazine or website that promotes ethical fashion? Have you considered ethics in your business projects? Have you created a PR and marketing strategy for an ethical brand or campaign? Have you addressed ethics in a creative way through your work? If you have, we want to hear from you and give you the opportunity to be seen at GFW.

To apply, please send us your university/course and contact details with a 250 word description of your collection or project with initial photographs or images to hannah_at_fashioninganethicalindustry.org by Friday 27th March. (replace _at_ with@)

The chosen students will be notified by the April 20th and ask to submit a final description of their piece and images by Friday 8th May. ALL IMAGES MUST BE 300DPI AND 21CM x 14.5CM OR THEY CAN NOT BE USED.
