Industry experts Anannya Bhattacharjee (Asia Floor Wage), Alex Mcintosh (Centre for Sustainable Fashion), Sophie Koers (Fair Wear Foundation) and Nieves Ruiz Ramos (Bibico) share their ideas. 4.30 -5.00 Warp and Woof: Food for thought - An excerpt from a play first performed in 1908 that was discussed in parliament as part of the negotiations for better working conditions in factories in the UK.

The play excerpt was selected and adapted for the conference by Dr. Clare Rose (historian of the fashion industry at London Metropolitan University).  It was performed by students from across London and the main roles were played by Kate Cooper and Sarah Bedford and the piece was directed by Hannah Draper.
